Techline uses 3D CAD modelling tools and we also specialise in incorporating our client CAD models within our designs to ensure the shortest possible time to market. Our CAD software allows us to supply our customer’s with an executable 3D file so complete designs can be reviewed without the need for expensive CAD or 3rd party software tools.

Techline’s design facility now includes a Markforged Mark Two 3D printer which is the world’s first 3D printer to print composite materials. We can now print functional parts, tools and devices within hours of the original design concept and with excellent strength-to-weight ratio.



The printer uses Fused Filament Fabrication technology, in which the outer contours are printed in nylon material and the inner workings of the component are provided with continuous carbon fibres, Kevlar® and fibreglass.

The printer enables Techline to produce stable and production quality parts in the shortest possible time frame. We can determine the material and the stability of components, and then print perfect functional parts direct from CAD data.



Embedded Components. The printing process can be paused to embed components within the print. We can integrate electronics, sensors or mechanisms into products and components.



We can now manufacture robust components in-house for commercial and industrial applications, with lead times measured in hours rather than weeks. Complete end-to-end product development.
